How much does a mezzanine floor cost?

This completely depends on the size of the floor and since our mezzanine floors are bespoke it’s really difficult to state figures without understanding the brief first. We will always aim to be as cost-effective as possible.

Do I need planning permission?

Generally no, since most mezzanine floors are not actually connected to the existing structure. However, it is required if the floor is for retail usage over 200 m2

What factors change the cost of the project?

There are a few factors that will increase the cost. The number of staircases, fire protection level, any electrical works, the strength of the underlying surface, the square foot and so on.

Will I need to manage the project?

No need to worry about this, our project manager will cover this on your behalf. However, you’re welcome to be involved as much or as little as you’d like.

How long does it take to install a mezzanine?

It really depends on the size of the project, but generally, they take between 3 to 6 weeks. We will always try to be as efficient as possible, keeping the time and disruption involved with installation to a minimum.
